Image, night vision and detection: what it really sees
On the image side you are looking at 2K ColorX, enough to read a plate or recognise a face in good conditions. Its ColorX colour night vision renders images in colour even in near-darkness, with infrared as a full fallback. Smart detection tells person, vehicle apart, which cuts false alerts right down (a branch swaying in the wind will not trip the alarm). Two-way audio lets you listen in and talk back from a distance.
Setup: wireless in a few minutes
It connects over Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4/5 GHz), with no cable to run: you fix the camera, join it to the Wi-Fi, and you are away. Power comes from a rechargeable battery (and a solar panel as an option on most models), ideal where there is no socket. Storage is local (microSD card) or on a Home Hub, with no forced subscription.
Storage, alerts and remote access
Storage: microSD card, Home Hub or cloud. No forced subscription to record locally. Everything runs from the Reolink app (and a browser): real-time notifications, live view and playback wherever you are. H.265 compression keeps file sizes down without giving up quality.
