Introduction

If there’s one range that embodies mobility autonomy in the Ecoflow brand, it’s the River series. Compact models weighing 5 kilograms, capable of delivering 300W in its basic version and nearly 1800W in Boost mode for the River Pro, this battery lineup is designed for those who enjoy adventuring, whether it’s for a weekend getaway or an extended excursion.

Bringing your River under your tent, recharging it in the car via the cigarette lighter socket, with a small 100W panel, or in just 1 hour by plugging it into the grid (just enough time to pack your belongings before heading out for the weekend). It’s a promise fulfilled that has contributed to Ecoflow’s excellent reputation.

Ecoflow has just announced the new version of the River, called River 2, which will be available on November 9th.

Ecoflow Technologies

Ecoflow develops proprietary features internally for their batteries. Here’s a quick overview of these different features:

X-Stream Technology

The X-Stream technology allows batteries to recharge very rapidly. A significant portion of the models can be charged from 0% to 80% in 1 hour and fully in 2 hours. The River 2 is, of course, one of these batteries. This refers to recharging via the network with an AC outlet. It will naturally take longer to recharge the battery using solar panels (unless you can generate 1KW with them), and much longer with a cigarette lighter socket.

X-Boost Technology

X-Boost Technology, on the other hand, enables the delivery of high power output from outlets compared to similar products from other brands. It’s entirely possible to operate power-hungry devices for short periods. Examples include a drill, an angle grinder, or a toaster.

Smart Battery Management System

The batteries are intelligent, equipped with safety features to prevent overheating and optimize conditions for optimal performance. This is evident in our daily use with our Delta Mini and our Delta 2: the higher the recharge power, the more the battery ventilates. Similarly, when it is solicited, it always maintains a stable temperature, and it is very rare for it to overheat. In fact, overheating issues are so rare that we have never noticed any heating problems.

Expandable Power

Ecoflow batteries can be upgraded. If you need more capacity, it’s possible for many models to purchase additional capacity without having to change the battery.

River 2 Specifications

• Enhanced X-Stream Performance: You can recharge your River 2 from 0% to 100% in 70 minutes. Where the River 1 required 1 hour and 30 minutes for charging, and equivalent capacity batteries on the market took 5 to 7 hours, this battery will require barely over an hour to function.
• Solar Panel Charging: Charge your battery with solar panels in 3 hours, thanks to the MPPT module integrated into the battery, allowing maximum power transfer to the battery.
• 11 devices can be connected simultaneously to the battery.
• Reach up to 1600W output with the X-Boost Mode.
• 3000 Cycles. Yes, you read that correctly, the River 2 is rated for 3000 cycles, which is 5 times more than the competition.
