Unboxing

I received the Bundle version of the Reolink Atlas PT Ultra, which includes the camera, the Reolink solar panel, and its mounting bracket. This panel eliminates the need for power or RJ45 cables to connect the camera to your network, offering a convenient option for installation without drilling walls. However, it’s important to keep in mind that the camera relies on the Wi-Fi network, so if your network goes down or you switch to a less powerful modem, it could affect connectivity.

In terms of design, the Reolink Atlas PT Ultra is a success. Its solid construction with a black and white weather-resistant finish (IP65 rating) makes it perfect for both outdoor and indoor setups. The support for 5 GHz Wi-Fi is a significant advantage over previous models, like the Argus 2A and Argus 3 Pro, which only worked on 2.4 GHz. Wi-Fi Connectivity and Intrusion Test

After connecting the camera, I installed it on the roof, where it remained connected to my Wi-Fi network without any issues, even though my network isn’t Wi-Fi 6. Thanks to its dual-band antenna, the connection’s stability was flawless. I was able to enable real-time notifications to test the motion detection, and the camera responded in just a few seconds, sending me a notification immediately after detecting movement.
