What useful solar power in a day?
On paper 200 W, in real life it depends on the sun, the season, and the orientation. On a nice day, expect to recover between 800 and 1000 Wh. In practical terms, this is enough to seriously recharge a 1 to 2 kWh station during the day: it’s the power that shifts solar from a simple supplement to a real energy source in a van.
Foldable and portable
Once folded, it easily fits in a trunk or behind a seat, weighing 6.2 kg. Unfolded, its adjustable support allows you to orient it towards the sun for the best efficiency. That’s the whole point of being foldable: you take it out when you’re settled, and put it away for driving. IP68 waterproofing.
Compatibility: what connection?
On the cell side, we are dealing with monocrystalline cells rated for about 25% efficiency. The panel powers Jackery Explorer stations as well as other brands with the appropriate adapter. Just make sure that the panel’s voltage falls within the solar input range (MPPT) of your station, especially if you connect multiple panels in series.
