Description
With the BS2500 PRO, AllPowers offers its home storage in a more accessible format. It remains a true home storage battery, but at 2.6 kWh: the ideal entry point for anyone looking to start solar self-consumption or home backup without immediately aiming for the large 5 kWh block.
It’s the same shift we see with all brands: portable station manufacturers are moving into residential, and AllPowers here offers the reasonable version of its range. Lighter than its big sister (38.8 kg compared to 65 kg), it remains a stationary and non-portable product, but is easier to handle and position.
A small clarification for use: like the BS5000, this is not a travel battery. It’s for permanent storage, for the home, balcony, or garage.
Who is the BS2500 PRO for?
In our classification, it’s an entry-level home storage solution. It’s well-suited for:
- an apartment or small house with a balcony that wants to start self-consumption without a large investment;
- areas where the grid is unstable and where a simple backup is needed;
- anyone wanting a first energy reserve at home, with the option to expand later.
For the van traveler who counts every kilo, this is still not the right product: 38.8 kg is still fixed. A portable station like the R2500 would be more suitable for travel.
2.6 kWh, 2400 W, hybrid: the important numbers
The core is a LiFePO4 battery rated for 6,000 cycles, with a lifespan of up to 15 years. 2600 Wh of reserve, 2400 W output, enough to run a fridge, box, lighting, and some heavier loads daily.
Like the BS5000, it is hybrid: it works with the grid and off-grid. On the solar side, two MPPT inputs can handle up to 2000 W of panels. And its IP65 rating allows it to live outdoors, on a balcony or in a garage, between -20 and +60 degrees.
Hybrid and anti-injection: the connection
The BS2500 PRO can inject from 0 to 2400 W into your installation, with adjustable power, while powering your devices. Coupled with the AllPowers smart meter, it adjusts to avoid sending back to the grid what you want to keep.
Everything remains Plug & Play: no separate regulator, no bulky inverter. Depending on your country and your electrical panel, having an electrician handle the connection is still a good idea.
The backup: what it holds when the power goes out
In case of a power cut, its source inverter switches in less than 15 ms. The grid drops, and the fridge and box continue without you noticing. It’s the safety net we look for in a place where the power is unreliable.
Expandable from 2.6 to 7.8 kWh
If 2.6 kWh becomes tight, it expands up to 7.8 kWh by connecting up to three units, enough to last up to two days of power at home. You start small and expand when the need arises, without having to buy everything again.
Control via the app
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth integrated, and a mobile control app that monitors all the energy: charge level, solar production, consumption, injection settings. Enough to manage your reserve daily from your couch.
Why buy from Vantour?
Because here you buy directly from AllPowers, without third-party resellers: 100% authentic and official product, stocks managed by the brand, and customer service provided by AllPowers for the longest possible duration (the BS2500 PRO is covered by a 5-year warranty). No gray market item from a dubious marketplace.
On the pricing side, to give you a concrete idea:
£1199,00 at the brand, and £1079,10 with our code VANTOUR (-10% off).We know the range, not (yet) this model
Honesty first: we haven’t had the BS2500 PRO in our hands, so no fake test here. But we follow AllPowers closely, we’ve already scrutinized several of their stations, and this little sister of home storage looks good on paper. If you’re hesitating between capacities or types of devices, take a look at our buying guide to make the right choice.
PS: at a time when we’re being told that soon all electricity will be used to run AIs, building a small personal reserve at home is not absurd.
