Description
The SolarFlow 2400 Pro is the model in the Zendure range that connects directly to panels. While the 2400 AC+ pairs with an existing inverter, this one combines battery, solar controllers, and inverter in a single unit, with four MPPT inputs.
Its specifications can be summarized in a few numbers: 2,400 Wh of integrated LiFePO4, 3,000 W of solar input spread across four MPPTs, 2,400 W of bidirectional AC power, and up to 16.8 kWh with five AB3000L batteries. This specification concerns the product alone, without additional battery or panel.
Who is this device for?
It targets a household that consumes a lot and has space for multiple high-power panels, on a wide balcony, terrace, shelter, or ground. It's also a good candidate if you want to charge from the grid during off-peak hours, with or without solar.
For two panels on a small balcony, it is oversized: the SolarFlow 800 Pro 2 is cheaper and is more than sufficient. And if your roof already has its inverter, consider the SolarFlow 2400 AC+, designed for this case. It is also not a portable device: at 27.8 kg and 326 x 294 x 251 mm, it is meant to be placed once and for all. For a van, a portable station remains the right product.
The 800 W and 2,400 W: what you need to understand
This is the point to read before buying. The manual provides a network output of 800 W by default, and 2,400 W only in Premium mode. The 2,400 W displayed everywhere is therefore not what you get by plugging it into a socket.
According to German tests from Notebookcheck and inside digital, full power requires a fixed installation by an electrician and a declaration to the network operator. Zendure's FAQ supports this: outside of plug and play use, the connection goes through a dedicated circuit breaker installed by a certified electrician. The rules vary by country, so check yours before relying on this power.
Which panels to connect
The manual states 4 MPPT inputs of 750 W, totaling 3,000 W, with a range of 14 to 55 V, 18 A per input, and 22.5 A of short-circuit current. The limit to remember is the voltage: never more than 55 V open circuit on an input.
Zendure's FAQ specifies a maximum of 660 W modules per input and advises not to exceed around 1 kW of panels per MPPT, which is 1.5 times its nominal power. The startup at 14 V is mainly useful in the morning, evening, and in overcast weather: Zendure claims up to 12.5% more production in low light, a manufacturer figure.
Additionally, an existing micro-inverter can be connected to the off-grid socket, up to 1,800 W in AC coupling according to the product page. The total solar input then rises to 4,800 W, but this setup only works with the grid present.
The off-grid socket in case of power outage
In case of a power outage, the device automatically switches to battery and powers only the off-grid socket. The rest of the house is not supported. Therefore, devices that need to be maintained must be plugged directly into it.
The FAQ states 2,400 W continuously on this socket and 3,600 W peak for 200 ms. The manual table indicates 3,200 VA, and the product page specifies that these 3,200 W are power assisted by the grid. So keep 2,400 W as a reference in a true outage. A generator should never be connected to this port.
Scalability and control
Only the AB3000L battery is supported, with a maximum of five units, for a total of 16.8 kWh. It stacks under the device, and it will account for most of the budget if you aim for high capacity.
Control is done through the Zendure app, necessary for configuration, with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. To limit injection, a compatible meter is required: Zendure Smart Meter 3CT or D0/P1, Shelly Pro 3EM, Shelly 3EM, or Everhome Ecotracker IR. The ZENKI control module, MQTT, Home Assistant, and Homey complete the setup. Zendure's FAQ reserves the RJ45 port for RS485, while Notebookcheck and HouseControllers mention a network connection: do not rely on it to replace Wi-Fi without checking.
What independent testers say
We have not had this device in hand. The feedback below comes from third parties, mostly German-speaking, and we report it as such.
Notebookcheck, on a configuration with an AB3000L, four panels of about 1,800 Wc, and a Shelly Pro 3EM Pro, notes nearly 90% efficiency on an AC cycle and a standby consumption of a few watts. Its reservation is about the price and size: the device only makes sense with a complete installation, and it is often oversized for a small system.
HouseControllers gives it 8.5 out of 10 and describes silent operation, regretting the absence of 5 GHz Wi-Fi and a Homey integration that goes through a community app. Inside digital notes numerous application modes, confusing for a beginner, and MC4 connectors that need to be handled with care. PC-Welt and homeandsmart come to the same conclusion: all potential depends on the meter.
On the Zendure store, reviews from British buyers praise the startup. Reservations concern missing options for the Tempo rate, and a 3CT meter deemed improvable. These reviews are published by the brand on its own store.
Why buy from Vantour?
We track the price of this device on the official Zendure store, and the link goes directly to the manufacturer: official product, stock managed by the brand, and after-sales service provided by Zendure.
Current price at Zendure for the product alone: £841,23. This model is excluded from the ongoing Zendure discount code, so do not count on it for that.
The announced warranty is 10 years, for a lifespan of up to 15 years. The casing is certified IP65, the battery has self-heating for cold conditions, and an aerosol extinguishing device activates in case of abnormal heating or short circuit.

Our verdict
Benefits
- Four MPPT inputs for 3,000 W of panels, with startup from 14 V
- Battery, MPPT, and inverter combined in a single IP65 enclosure
- Expandable to 16.8 kWh with five AB3000L batteries
- Off-grid socket with automatic switch-over in case of power outage
- Shelly and Zendure meters, Home Assistant and Homey, 10-year warranty
Disadvantages
- Default 800 W network output: the 2,400 W requires a fixed installation
- Oversized and expensive for two panels on a small balcony
- A compatible meter is almost essential to limit injection
- No 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and a dense app at the beginning
- Excluded from the ongoing Zendure discount code
The logical choice if you have several powerful panels and a high consumption to cover. Before buying, check the meter, and ask yourself if you will have a fixed installation set up: without it, you remain at 800 W on the grid. For two panels, the SolarFlow 800 Pro 2 is sufficient.
