The AB3000L is not a standalone device. It is the extension battery for the SolarFlow 2400 AC+ and 2400 Pro, which adds 2,880 Wh to the base of 2,400 Wh of these two devices. Without one of them, it is useless: it has no inverter, no socket, and no solar input.
This sheet concerns a single battery. It stacks under the main device, and a maximum of five units brings the system to 16.8 kWh.
Who is this battery for?
It is for those who already own a SolarFlow 2400 AC+ or a SolarFlow 2400 Pro, and find that the battery is full before the end of the production day, or empty before the end of the evening.
If your daily surplus fits within the 2.4 kWh base, do not buy it: you would be paying for a capacity that never fills up. First, check in the app what goes back to the grid over several weeks, then decide.
Check compatibility first
This is the point to check first, as the names are similar. The official page indicates compatibility with the SolarFlow 2400 AC+ and the 2400 Pro only. It excludes the SolarFlow 2400 AC without the “+”, which uses the AB3000X.
The manual also lists the AB1000 and AB2000 series in its compatibility line. If you plan to mix models in the same stack, have it confirmed by Zendure before ordering, we have not verified it.
Features to know
The manual states 60 Ah for 2,880 Wh at 48 V, with LiFePO4 chemistry and 6,000 life cycles. The cycle figure remains a manufacturer data.
The maximum power is 1,680 W with a single battery and 1,920 W from two, knowing that the manual specifies that it also depends on the inverter of the main device. Weighing 26.3 kg for 394 x 257 x 283 mm, handling is to be planned, especially for stacking multiple units.
Winter and safety
The battery charges from 0 to 55 °C and discharges from -20 to 60 °C. Self-heating occurs between -20 and 0 °C to allow charging in cold weather. The IP65 rating allows for outdoor installation, but the FAQ for the 2400 Pro advises avoiding direct sunlight and rain.
On the safety side, the manual describes protections against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, and overheating, as well as a aerosol extinguishing system that activates around 170 °C.
What users say
We have not had this battery in hand, and we found no independent tests dedicated to it. Notebookcheck used it in its configuration of the 2400 Pro, for a total of 5,280 Wh, without judging it separately.
On the Zendure store, buyer reviews mainly describe a quick installation, battery recognized without adjustment on a 2400 AC+. One buyer admits to having difficulty navigating the charge and discharge settings. These reviews are published by the brand on its own store.
