Who is this power station for?

With 1024 Wh usable you can expect roughly 85 phone charges, around 15 hours on a 60 W travel fridge, or a laptop, lights and a small TV through a full evening with margin left. Each expansion battery adds another 1024 Wh on the same terms, so the maths stays simple: four batteries and you are running the fridge for days, not hours.
The expansion port is the whole point
Most stations in the 1 kWh class are sealed units: what you buy is what you keep. The Nomad1800 Pro takes P180-B batteries and scales to 5120 Wh, and that single design decision is what separates it from the rest of the segment. It is also the honest reason to pay more for it than for the standard Nomad1800, which is the same class of station without the port.
Recharging: plan for 1000 W, not more
This is where we have to be straight with you. AC input tops out at 1000 W and solar at 500 W, for a maximum combined input of 1500 W when you run both at once. Several competitors in the same class charge faster from the wall. What you get in exchange is a station that keeps growing, which is a different kind of value and, for most people, the more useful one. Car charging at 12 V is there for topping up while you drive.
Chemistry, UPS and app
